Alâ Otel is a 20-room boutique hotel converted from stone buildings on a 200-year-old plot inside the village. It is laid out around inner gardens and a courtyard on roughly 1,000 square metres within the conservation area. The furniture consists of handmade solid pieces brought from different Indonesian islands, and the garden planting brings Mediterranean and tropical species together. An outdoor pool and a garden surrounded by jasmine, lavender and bougainvillea define the character of the hotel. It holds a special certificate from the Ministry of Tourism.
