Kumrucu Hikmet has been making the classic Çeşme kumru on the same Alaçatı spot since 1974. Three generations have worked to the same recipe: sesame bread, sucuk and salami from the Tire butcher, kaşar from the Karaburun side, tomato and pickles, kept plain. The shop is the older branch, the one with the stronger sense of regulars. For a quick bite with local memory behind it, it is one of the reference places on the peninsula.
