İmren Alaçatı Tatlıcısı
İmren Alaçatı Tatlıcısı is an Alaçatı classic known since 1941 for desserts, cafe culture and mastic-flavored sweets.
About this place
İmren was opened in 1941 by Hasan Usta, a migrant from Thessaloniki, and has since passed to his grandchildren. It started with black halva, walnut halva, tahini halva, grape must, baklava and revani, and the counter widened when his son Ekrem joined. Today mastic pudding, mastic biscuits, baked rice pudding, keşkül and kazandibi are the standouts. Production continues with traditional methods, and it remains one of the oldest sweet shops in Alaçatı.
